Six hair stylists and two makeup artiists collaborate on a photo session illustrating the influence of the Roaring Twenties on fashion styling through the ages. The sense of "freedom" from structured corsets, long dresses and pinned up hair fostered loose hair and short bob cuts. The primitive hair setting lotions and pin curls from the 1920s has evolved! New ways to texturize and curl hair using hot irons and blow dryers of all kinds mixed with innovative ways to twist and wind hair around objects create sets that are teased and arranged. Multi-texture is the trend in hairstyling and the images in this collection represent a "time warp" of new and old.
Constance McCardle, Fashion Designer, supplied the team with a mixture of vintage pieces and her own collection pieces.
